Norman Knickrehm Memorial Scholarship

Norman Knickrehm was a man who had a passion for woodworking. His creative mind could create something out of nothing. Out of love he he crafted each of his children a beautiful wooden cradle when they were babies to sleep in. Another talent Norman had was refinishing furniture. Norman was a US Postal Service mail carrier here in Mitchell for 32 years. After Norman passed away in April of 2022 his family established this scholarship for a second year student in the Architectural Design and Building Construction program.
