Roger Carlson "Tough Old Bird" Endowed Scholarship

Established in 2013 by family and friends of longtime MTC Ag instructor Roger Carlson.  Carlson began his career at MTC in August, 1990, and was a valued member of the Ag Technology department until May, 2011, when health problems forced his retirement. Carlson passed away on August 27, 2012 from complications related to leukemia. The endowment provides a scholarship each year to a first year, full-time student in the Agronomy, Ag Business, Animal Science, Architecture Design and Building Construction or Diesel Power Technology program who maintains a GPA of 2.5.
