John and Diane Weber "Career Change" Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2015 by the daughters of John and Diance Weber. Johnwas a Culinary Academy instructor and MTC alum.  Diane’s early adult years were spent in the Peace Corp, working at Bell Telephone and teaching German and English after college.  The scholarship honors Diane’s desire in 1974 to change her career and her enrollment at MTC to become a Clinical Lab Technician.  While attending MTC she met John, completed her education, and then spent several years working as a Clinical Lab Technician. The scholarship will be awarded to a first year, full-time student enrolled in any program, who is preparing for a career change, maintains a GPA of 3.0, and works 10 hours or more per week.
